There's no match to it, wish OneNote could replicate it (it applies ink-smoothing which ruins the UX).
One cool (but hidden) trick I found out is the ability to jump pages via a page-preview feature when you tap on the page number at the bottom. It has additional features hidden there as well. Anyway, here's my wish list: 1. I wish Bamboo Paper could distinguish between (Surface) pen strokes and finger-touch (like OneNote), so I can scroll/flip through pages with my finger.
I'd like to see more notebooks at a glance given the real estate on the home screen, plus the ability to rearrange them using drag & drop. Ability to pin notebooks as live tiles for quick access from Start menu/screen. Submitted on 7/16/2018 Review title of Marchello??? Where is the InkSpace & Wacom Cloud sign in?
Their website shows the windows app as having the cloud backup integration, however the app is missing that step. Am I missing this in a hidden settings menu somewhere? This sucks because I'm unable to sync the Android notebooks to my Surface Book which is what the step by step guide on the Wacom website states is possible with Bamboo Paper and InkSpace on Windows 10. Help if anyone has this same issue please. Submitted on Review title of W.Please bring back quick tools selection Recent update took away the ability to select tools when clicking on the pen's side button. I've been using this app daily for years and it's becoming very annoying for me to have to unlearn the old habit. I don't see much benefit of the newest update since I believe the app's features are not rich enough to justify having custom color selection.
The app was perfect for rapid sketches and ideation so please focus on enriching those core experience. Submitted on 7/2/2018 Review title of RichardPretty Cool I like it, it's fun to take notes in or make little scribbles and such. It was a bit weird, I had a hard time figuring out how to create a new notebook or delete one, sometimes menus pop-up when I don't intend for them to, etc. I think I'm just getting used to things though. One thing I wish it could do (a feature I'd be willing to purchase) would be to copy and paste a small section of a notebook. If I want to use the same image over and over, I have to draw it, export it, trim it in paint, and import it again and again.
Other than that, really great app with excellent functionality for the free version. UPDATE: No backup or automatic sync using OneDrive. Lost my notebook.
Still pretty good for free, just be careful to export things you want to keep in the event your PC crashes.
