I had a similar issue and was able to restore the recording. Steps:. Start a new Skype for Business meeting, share the screen and turn on the recording. Pause the recording.
Find temp files for the current recording in c: Users%USERNAME% AppData Local Microsoft Communicator Recording Manager Temporary Recording Files. Remove all files except lock.lock file. Copy temp files from failed recording (that can also be found in c: Users%USERNAME% AppData Local Microsoft Communicator Recording Manager Temporary Recording Files ) to the current recording folder. Hi Neylan, There are some things need to clarify. Recording function can just be applied with meetings, if this button is missing in calls, it's an expected behavior. If this function is also missing in meeting, a possible reason is it was disabled by your Office 365 admin.
